Dawn L. Henry, Esq., Senior Advisor

After receiving her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma School of Law, Dawn returned home to the US Virgin Islands, where she practiced environmental law for over 18 years. As part of that journey, Dawn served as Commissioner for the USVI Department of Planning and Natural Resources. She has experience in fisheries, historic preservation, coastal zone management, fish and wildlife. Dawn also drafted and championed the USVI’s plastic bag ban. She knows that resilient people build resilient environments and believes that people must be a focus in safeguarding our environment.
