Harith Wickrema, Island Green Living Association  

Harith Wickrema is board president of Island Green Living, a nonprofit with a 21 year legacy of expanding sustainability and food security in the USVI. He currently serves on the Local Food and Farm Council and the Virgin Islands Conservation District board. Wickrema is also the founder of Planet Green Force, a new nonprofit formed in collaboration with UNESCO, envisioned as a global youth league focused on educating, inspiring passion and raising awareness to combat hunger, global warming, and support the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. He has been recognized as a leading advocate for sustainability with multiple awards including the EPA’s Environmental Champion Award. He was formerly an educator with Temple University and introduced their sustainable event management/eco- tourism curriculum while running a multimillion dollar global event production company.
